Rainers pizzeria and beer garden

can be considered as an gastronomic institution in Tbilisi.

15 years ago, the pizzeria was the first European restaurant in Tbilisi, which has been managed by European management for many years.

European standards in food-quality and service made this restaurant to one of the most popular ones among Georgians and foreigners in the Georgian capital.

After a period, in which the restaurant was leased, it has been completely renovated in spring 2009 and is now again managed by Rainer Kaufmann and his wife Gabi.

Both operate a special travel agency for the Caucasus ERKA Reisen in Germany and a large event-restaurant Kaufmanns Schlachthof in their home town of Bruchsal. There they offer Georgian specialties with great success, whereas they offer European food as authentic as never found elsewhere in Tbilisi in Rainers pizzeria and beer garden.
